La ciudadanía desde la perspectiva de la democracia radical: La salida propuesta por Chantal Mouffe

Abstract

This article argues that politics, understood as moral conflict, can be a way of overcoming social inequality and forming a criterion of justice in keeping with the contemporary demands of political recognition. To explain this idea, an approximation is presented here of Chantal Mouffe’s philosophical perspective and radical democracy. Subsequently, a concept of citizenship for the author is developed, and finally the idea is presented of how political action, established in radical democracy, manages to rebuild the social order in terms of the identification of the citizens with the State.
