This article seeks to anticipate the possible consequences of passing the law that purports to turn financial sustainability into a constitutional principle, which would make it a standard criterion for conflict resolution. It is a highly controversi al issue, as the increased importance of this principle could eventually be interpreted in a way that is detrimental to basic human rights, as well as economic, cultural, and social rights, and it could hurt the conquests of the welfare state.Downloads
