Significados asociados al futuro laboral: entre la formalidad y la informalidad

Abstract

Objective.
This research analyzed the meanings which, from the point of view of subjectivity, and in the
context of great social and labor-related transformations, a group of workers from different socio-economic
conditions gave to their future employment situation.
Method.
30 autobiographical interviews were carried
out with people of working age, and of different occupational and sociodemographic levels. A contents
analysis was made of data gathered, and with the Atlas Ti tool.
Results
. Categories and relationships were
found, leading to the conclusion that the workers see their future employment in independent work as a way
of facing uncertainty, equality and as a form of resistance against the practices of the authoritarian heads of
human resources and long working hours.
Conclusión.
A review is recommended of the ways of working in
companies and the policies of current social development.
