Abstract

It has been widely studied how the study of the psychopathology of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has major
implications for some theories of the philosophy of mind. However, not only studies in psychology leave their
mark on philosophy, but studies in philosophy also have an effect on psychology. The case presented in this
article is twofold: on the one hand, how psychopathology of ASD requires the philosophy of mind to rethink
mental life and, secondly, how a change of perspective in explaining psychological interpretation raised by
Wittgenstein requires psychology to rethink the psychopathology of ASD.
