Rumo a uma educação sexual integral: inclusão da diversidade sexual no programa COMPAS na Colômbia

Resumo
Escopo. Avaliar a pertinência de uma sessão de intervenção projetada para incorporar aspectos da diversidade sexual no programa COMPAS, que, até o momento, tem focado na prevenção de riscos associados a infecções sexualmente transmissíveis (IST) e gestações não planejadas. Método. A pesquisa, de abordagem mista e delineamento transversal, foi desenvolvida por meio de um processo multietapas que incluiu a criação de uma sessão específica, a realização de grupos de discussão com nove adolescentes colombianos de 14 a 19 anos e a avaliação da sessão por cinco juízes especialistas. Resultados. Os achados demonstraram a pertinência da sessão, tanto em nível quantitativo quanto qualitativo, destacando sua relevância para o programa COMPAS. Além disso, foram identificados ajustes necessários com base em uma análise detalhada do discurso dos participantes. Conclusão. Essa intervenção representa um avanço significativo para a implementação de uma educação sexual integral na Colômbia. Sua incorporação ao programa COMPAS pode ampliar consideravelmente sua eficácia na promoção de uma sexualidade saudável e diversa.
