Abstract

Economic rights as formulations of law generally consist of a mirage which usually serves to distract the view of real social situations, sinking it into a pit of self-deluding legal jargon. While economic rights as an ideal can acquire that fermental value, mere judicial statements, on the other hand, consist of a certain type of literary smokescreen, so that people are not aware of how things really happen. Hence, the idea that by incorporating given formulas to international law or constitutions economic rights can be enacted would be nothing more than another demonstration of "magical" thinking in the use of language. It is for this reason that these are not mere ideals that are dependent on the existence of other conditions, especially extra-legal ones - material conditions and cultural conditions.
