Pancitopenia: Enfoque diagnóstico. Revisión de la literatura
Resumen
La pancitopenia es una alteración hematológica que puede poner en peligro la vida del paciente en muchas ocasiones. Su diagnóstico supone un desafío para el médico tratante dada su amplia posibilidad de etiologías. El objetivo es hacer un acercamiento en el abordaje diagnóstico de un paciente con pancitopenia. La búsqueda de información se realizó en las bases de datos: PubMed, Google académico, Clinical Key y Medline, utilizando descriptores en español e inglés. En la práctica clínica se ha visto la importancia de saber abordar correctamente a los pacientes con pancitopenia e identificar la causa subyacente, ya que un gran número de pacientes cursan con una etiología reversible y el diagnóstico oportuno puede salvar su vida.
