Análisis bibliométrico de la depresión infantil

Abstract

This article presents the data obtained from the bibliometric analysis on the work on infantile
depression published from 1985 to 2006. The Hinari database was used from the World Health
Organization (WHO)and Psicodoc, where reserach is located in various parts of the world. 153
articles were located, which analyze the number of articles published per year, output per magazine,
the index author and the contents of work. The results show that the production is greater from the
period 2001 to 2006 with a total of 36%, the magazine which has published most on this subject is
the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology with 12.4%. Also, the articles carry the names
of one and two authors, and the one with the highest productivity are David A. Cole (University of
Notre Dame, USA) and Victoria Del Barium (UNED, University of Distance Education, Spain). The
instrument most often used is the CDI (Children’s Depression Inventory) with 46.1%. Finally, the
most common content corresponds to studies of the validity and reliability of measurement tools and
theoretical reviews.
