Histórias de vida profissional sobre a atenção à saúde de mulheres trans na Colômbia

Resumo
Escopo. Caracterizar as histórias de vida profissional de um grupo de profissionais da saúde na Colômbia, com experiência no cuidado de mulheres trans. Método. Pesquisa com desenho narrativo, que contou com a participação de oito pessoas que trabalham em contextos da saúde na Colômbia. Por meio de uma entrevista em profundidade, as histórias de vida laboral foram pesquisadas a partir de suas experiências no cuidado de mulheres trans. Resultados. Os participantes relataram as barreiras que existem na atenção à saúde, como resultado da falta de rotas de atenção à saúde, o desconhecimento das identidades trans, suas necessidades e formas de apoio, assim como o estigma que prevalece na Colômbia de ser uma sociedade cisnormativa. Conclusão. A atenção à saúde da mulher em transição de gênero é deficiente, pouco humanizada e trans-afirmativa. É necessária a criação de rotas baseadas em evidências, construídas de forma colaborativa com as comunidades trans, os setores da saúde, da educação e do governo.
